Accounting for Dutch sole traders: invoices, quotes, expenses and VAT in one place, with no subscription.

Problem
Sole traders often pay for software they mainly use to invoice and keep VAT. Spreadsheets are free, but numbering, PDFs and KOR stay manual.
Solution
Cijfera covers that core in Dutch: bookkeeping that matches the return, with no required subscription.
Role
Solo: product decisions, data model, auth, UI, PDF, mail and AI import.

About

I'm Luca Verduyn. I like taking a product from idea to production: frontend and backend through to database, deployment and infrastructure.

I have done paid development work since 2021, in parallel with hands-on hosting and infrastructure practice. In 2024 I founded LV IT-Services. Cijfera is the clearest proof of how I work: sharpen the problem, choose the stack, build it, and keep it in production.

I study Creative Software Developer (MBO level 4) at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. I am looking for a full-stack internship. I keep building my own products — and take freelance work when the brief fits.

AI interests me as part of a product, not as a trick. In Cijfera it is receipt import. On this site it is an assistant about my work.

Freelance

I take projects end to end: from a focused feature to a product that can go live — including what it takes to ship and keep it online. No agency layer, no hosting packages.

  1. Websites & web apps

    Next.js and TypeScript. From a site to an app with accounts, a database and PDFs — the same shape as Cijfera in production.

  2. AI integrations

    OpenAI inside an existing product: import, assistants, automation. Not a standalone chatbot demo.

  3. Backends & APIs

    PostgreSQL or MySQL, auth, REST. Data models that enforce constraints instead of hoping the UI will.

  4. Deployment & infrastructure

    Getting a project live and keeping it there: VPS, Linux, DNS, deployments. Not a hosting company — a developer who understands the stack through to production.
